PFAS Legislative & Legal Enforcement Briefing for Coalition Members
Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (CDT) via Zoom.
WCMA was pleased to share an opportunity for members to attend a virtual briefing hosted by WPC and WMC, on Wisconsin’s PFAS enforcement legislation (AB 131), which was signed into law by Governor Evers.
Lane Ruhland (WPC) and Scott Manley (WMC) led the discussion which included the following agenda outline:
- A high-level overview of the Legislative battle leading up to a compromise
- An expert analysis of the changes to Wisconsin’s Spills Law affecting manufacturers
- A discussion of future implementation issues and concerns
- Looking ahead – Challenges for the next Legislative Session and how industry can be prepared
- A Question & Answer Session
This session offered a timely opportunity to better understand how these changes may affect your operations and to stay informed on what’s ahead.

November Annual Member Meeting | WCMA members came together on November 6 at Milwaukee Valve Co. in Prairie du Sac for the 2025 Annual Meeting - a full day of valuable insights, industry updates, and member engagement. The event began with a warm welcome from WCMA President Bryant Esch and an exclusive plant tour showcasing Milwaukee Valve’s remarkable operations. Throughout the day, attendees heard from expert speakers on a range of key topics, including Wisconsin’s business and legislative outlook with Scott Manley (WMC), insurance and worker’s compensation updates from Katie Hensley (Cottingham & Butler), and an in-depth discussion on tariffs led by Dan McCarthy (McCarthy Consulting LLC). |
WMC Business Day | WCMA members had an inspiring day at WMC’s Business Day in Madison on October 23, 2025, held at the Monona Terrace Community & Convention Center. The event brought together business leaders from across the state to explore key issues impacting Wisconsin’s business community. Attendees participated in a full day of engaging sessions, including leadership insights from professional coach Steve Jones, an economic outlook from Bank of America experts Joseph Quinlan and Lauren Sanfilippoe, and a geopolitical perspective from best-selling author Peter Zeihan. The day also featured a CEO Fireside Chat with Diane Hendricks of ABC Supply Co., the Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin Award, and an Economic Reaction Panel with top executives from Blain’s Supply, Waupaca Foundry, and Burger Boat Company. Attendees left energized by the day’s discussions, fresh ideas, and valuable connections. |
